This independent cottage offers 3 large bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen as well as a mini sport center. It is spacious, elegantly decorated and extremely well located.

We also offer the services of our guide Caroline Hartlieb who can supervise your stay and accompany you. This extraordinary and sunny friend knows the region inside out, having wandered around for over 20 years.
Below is a typical one-week itinerary, but the list of activities allows you to plan a stay ranging from 10 days to 2 weeks. Don’t forget that there is also the wine route in Cape Town, with the city of Cape Town being a 5-hour drive from Wilderness or a 40-minute flight.
Welcome coffee at Map of Africa to get oriented.
Quick tour of the surroundings, shops, gas station, pharmacy, restaurants and beaches of Wilderness.
Relaxing day on the beaches of Wilderness or hiking on the King Fisher Trail, about 3 hours round trip to get to the waterfalls and relax with a small picnic.
Don’t forget to bring your swimsuit, sunscreen, a hat and towels.
Visit to the Game Reserve with departure at 8:30am from the farm and departure from the site at 9:30am, return around noon with a stop for an aperitif.
At 12:30pm, we recommend having lunch at a restaurant in Mossel Bay, either at Marbled Wagyu or Kaai 4 for grilled meat.
Paragliding with departure from Map of Africa (5 minutes from the farm), horseback riding or kloofing along the Kaiman River. In the latter case, departure at 8:30am from the Fairy Known Hotel and return at noon by shuttle.
Visit to the Cango Caves in Oudshoorn with a possible one-hour stop either at the Cango Wildlife Ranch or at a Cango Ostrich Farm.
Then, one-hour visit of the magnificent caves and lunch around 2pm at Marbled Wagyu farm.
Boat ride in Knysna, then a quick stop at the Heads of Knysna for a panoramic view and some beautiful photos to take.
Lunch break at 1pm either at Freshline Fisheries restaurant to taste fresh fish, or at 34 Degrees South for a varied menu for all tastes, or at Sirroco for a varied menu and good sushi.
If you prefer a hearty breakfast, you can go to L’Ile au Pain.
In the late afternoon, we head to Plettenberg for a romantic night at the TREE TSALA TOP hotel, with rooms positioned in the trees and an outdoor jacuzzi.

Visit to the Elephant Sancturay, MonkeyLand, swimming with seals in Plettenbergh, and dinner at the Barrington’s, a varied menu in a very friendly setting, or Keurboomstrand or Fat Fish.
